WHERE DID THE JOBS DISAPPEAR TO?

It’s shocking that every day when you go in the roads of South Africa we see more young people begging on the streets. Others just spend their days sitting in our townships doing nothing but because this is not only happening in the South but globally then the questions I’ve been asking myself I would find them appropriate if this was only happening in South Africa I would say our youth is lazy. Well in which they are most of the time, but the real question for me would be
Is the population of young people too much that even the companies don’t have any vacancies o hire them?Or do all of them in that large number of a statistic don’t meet certain requirements need by the company?Or is it because most of them don’t have work experience? Which I find to be weird because they can’t just have experience from tertiary they need to be hired in order to gain that required experience.

 LOOKING DEEP INTO THE CAUSES

Global youth unemployment is affecting many young people and the few factors adding to the youth being jobless. We find that many young people don’t have any education from higher education institutions because they can’t afford the fees or they don’t meet certain requirements then it becomes hard for them to have any career, not because companies are not hiring them but it would be the thing of not having any knowledge in that field, others have the qualification but the is no job because again it comes down to the thing of they don’t have experience but the are those ones with both qualification and the experience but have no jobs what went wrong in securing a job placement for themselves?

WHAT I TOOK WITH ME FROM THE CAMPAIGN 

For me, this is a topic that can be looked into with different angles really. Well I am a second year student and this is one of the campaigns I had to work with a group on them, for me it was amazing now the trick was because youth unemployment has become a well know and common topic that is always being addressed same with us all the groups must address on this same topic but come up with a unique angle be creative and stand out from others in the manner we should address this topic as groups.

It helped all of us because we played around different ideas and applied our PR skills in addressing the issue, we planned a youth unemployment conference and reached out to the suitable audience. We spoke more about the importance of personal branding, we helped people improve on how to write a professional curriculum vitae and helped them with creating job profiles on GumtreeThis assignment helped me in terms of improving my communication skills I was the MC for the conference and it also helped me in terms of approaching people and speaking with them. After the whole assignment I had to email people who supported us as our guests and that improved my writing skills cause know I don’t only prepare slide presentations but I am able to write to people different letters. We had to build relationships with the youth that we were helping to find jobs and because of the great plan that we had already used to help five young people find jobs we plan to continue using our skills and help others.

Well as they say great experience come your way when you are willing to learn, that's what happened with the PPR 2 students we were given a project to work on which is "food security'' probably you are wondering why work with food and farming so boring? well relax that's what most students thought too when this project was introduced. but trust me that all changed within a week when they started reading up about food security, 

let me enlighten you a little bit on what food security is about. food security means that all people at all times have physical and economical access to enough quantity of nutrition's,  safe and proper food. foods that can be produced in a good environment that can continuously provide enough food for a very long time, and food security is not just about the availability of food. it is more about making informed decisions and good choices on the safe food to eat, following a proper vegetarian diet. 

SUSTAINABLE FOOD AND OPENING A DOOR FOR JOBS

So we had farmers that were allocated to us and they are all based in Soweto, it was an honor for us as a group to work with Mr Ketso on the project, he thought us the importance of the green vegetables that greens is not only lettuce and cucumber but a variate of other leaf vegetables that we had no idea about. oh yes it was quite a lesson, because now I don't only have knowledge on safety and healthy food but a lot more on how to create job opportunities through farming. we were granted an opportunity by the farmer to learn how to grow our own vegetables . 

MIXING PR WITH FARMING

No it didn't only end there. Yes we learnt a lot from the project and the most important point is that youth should engage in these kind of projects to create job opportunities and eradicate hunger, then the next dollar question would be what did we give back to the farmer? I am very proud with the effort and hard work we putted on this project, we applied our PR skills to create awareness for the farmer around the community, and build relationships between the farmer, other businesses and with other community centers by compiling an asset register for him. well because its farming it doesn't mean its not a formal business too.

OUR OBJECTIVES FOR THIS PROJECT WERE:

•  To create a documents that shows the farmer his SWOT anaylisis
• We looked into the farmers needs and draw a budget for him so he can buy that are important and he need also did a research on which stores have lower prices to get thing like hose pipes and seeds.
• And we helped with designing a poster for him so that many people can be aware that the is a farmer in the area.

He is known for his inspiring background in web development and combines his programs capabilities with his unwavering passion for social marketing.

He has been with hub spot for six years thanks for the hard but he now focussing on social media.

I think he is the king of social media because if he can create so much work contributing to the advancement of media. Then why not give him the crown.

Big ups to her one of the ladies that makes a mark on social media. Worked at hub spot as head of conversion marketing for the period of four years. She has a beautiful novel behind her name entitled Stealing Paris

I think she is a role model to the ladies out there,  doesn’t she thinks like a man, yet she is a woman, her website Tudor tour is awesome work.

the is one think I wouldn’t  disagree on if it was said that he came up with the strategies on how to run social media in the corporate world. I mean his done it for Ford Moto co.

I personal give him respect, he left ford so that he can help clients more on social media offering high level-strategies. I say he is brave leaving his career so that he can use his influence on the companies that are still growing this man makes it a reality for me to see that a well formed career is the one well shared.

when I first read about his work I was like "what on earth is social nomics well he is a social nomics, a motivational speaker that has done presentations in 44 countries, an author his book Digital leader made him to be voted the second most likeable author in the world. His done wonderful presentations that changed people’s perceptions when it comes to how social media is transforming the way people practice business and live

HE IS NOT JUST A SOCIAL MEDIA AND BUSINESS BRAINEY

Gary Vaynerchuk he is one of the successful influence rs on social media with 1,12m followers on tweeter and 127k tweets. He uses tweeter as a platform to share business ideas, I think he was born with business and influential genes on his bloody. When I looked at his achievements isn't it amazing that he has written three books, what I find more fascinating is that he has built two multi-million dollar companies.

He truly has love of social media. A founder wine library TV of vainer media focused on digital agency.

Are you not glad you are living in a democratic country? I mean like really. I fail to understand why other countries are said to be democratic while they are buy silencing people who voice their opinions as if they are silencing flies.

Maybe the largest word in their bill of rights and constitution human rights charter, should be ‘freedom of speech’ followed by its explanation in a simple English since some leaders fail to understand what it means.

I doubt any of us could imagine being killed for your right, saying your opinion publicly, its sad cause 10 of the Charlie Hebdo publication staff were killed on a terrorist attack on the 07^th of January

ITS A UNIQUE SATIRE MAGAZINE

The Charlie Hebdo magazine is a weekly satirical magazine always published on Wednesday it features cartoons, reports, and carrier’s controversial arguments stating its different opinions on the practices done by the front nationalist national front party.

They make jokes about the politics and the religion thorough the drawings of cartoons, hilarious work indeed could I be right if I say their cartoons are a way of rebuking the countries religion and its political side and them emphasising that they won’t be bound to its practises.

 A DRAWING HAS NEVER HAMMED ANYONE

Can’t we spare ourselves the trouble of wanting to analyse, research the findings of what led to the attack of the editors in the Charlie Hedbo media house

DUH!!! I believe it is true even without proof that they were attacked because of controversial Muhammad cartoons the Charlie Hebdo media house published, I mean it’s obvious these pictures can make Mohammed  so mad.

All around the continent people showed their grief. it is one of the most popular hash tags ever used on social media.

Truly speaking I was inspired by the people around the world and who were so brave to protest  and demand their freedom of speech and expression .#I am charlie in five days it had more than 5 million hash tags on twitter.

i am one of the people who are learning to rely on tweeter for every newsworthy information, like the issue at hand i first head it on tweeter before traditional media broadcast-ed it amazing how media advanced. for me i think it was very wrong having countries that still wanna dictate and control people when what is said doesn't suit them. make your voice be heard # on social media
